This story chronicles Joanna's journey to Lagos Nigeria in search of her great-grandmother Mam Bucaud’s Nation Dance, the last real African in her family. A Yoruba woman who would perform a dance in Trinidad for her family. On her journey throughout Nigeria Joanna had the privilege to to speak with many influential and famous creatives such as Femi Lasode, Lemi Ghariokwu and Shola Duro-Ladipo.
