This first person autobiographical documentary explores a family history and the impact of coming to Britain in the Windrush years 1964. The socio-political, institutional racism and poor housing conditions they encountered as immigrants. The untold story of James Alexander the first Black Caribbean man to establish a housing association in the UK in 1969. The film also demonstrates that he has never been recognised for his contribution to housing and that he should be commemorated.
